GL, My primary interest is hunting vice match. Is the Blackjack HTR a reality as yet? What weights are it offered-panned to be offered in?

Not yet, but supposed to be eventually. The 131 Blackjacks kill just fine, as do the Hammers. In fact, i have switched over to Hammers in all my hunting rifles i am so impressed with them. Good penetration and minimal meat loss. Easy to load and easy to get to shoot. I use them in 243AI, 25-06AI, 6.5CM and shortlya 6.5-06AI, soon as i get the new barrel broken in.
Look up Hammer's website. Each bullet shows recommended twist rates.

I dont have a 257Wby. Call Steve at Hammer. He's got lots of info on diff calibers and he is easy to talk to. Blackjack may also have data. I've only talked to them twice and it was about other stuff.
