Gun Vise

I want to get a good gun vise for putting scopes on and to work on my rifles.What vise should i get or what would you get.

No one uses gun vises to work on their rifles.

You want a pattern makers vice! This is a good one. I glue leather onto the wood part of the jaws. You can clamp the rifle without damaging the surface.

I use a 20lb vise with padded (thick tool tray liner) wood cauls inside the house, and two ATV Tek VFG1 V-Grip's screwed into the plywood bench top in the garage for cleaning rifles. Sure beats those plastic cleaning stations....

The vise doubles for clamping other reloading related tools, such as the dillon swagger and hornady trimmer. Strong enough to hold an upper receiver getting a barrel torqued on to 80 ft pounds.
