Jim this would be alot easier if you just

answered yes or no instead of letting the hamster run wild on the wheel. The graph shows moments in time. But if you take the average the price of oil and gas over a period of time follow each other closely.

Do you understand this Y/N?

If yes we can move on to my first yes or no question you answered with commentary.

Your answer to my first yes or no question-

"Trump warned about allot of things. Of course, when he made that warning, the oil industry was already crashing. Oil wells had been shut down as had oil refineries all under his watch. It was the largest reduction in oil production in US history. Agin, $80 billion in losses and over 600 oil companies filing bankruptcy. Again, all under his watch."

Did Trump warn the governors of the states that were shutting down "the cure can't be worse than the problem itself" on 3/23/20. Y/N?

My question number 2-

You state "When oil has dropped oil companies have not been lowering the price of gas. They have been absorbing the profits." do you have proof of this? (Please refer back to post 539 for your answer) Y/N

Your answer-

No. Its not a baseless claim.

This isn't the epoch times or even info wars so you probably won't believe them

To start I have never been on either website so I'm not sure what you're are getting at. The links you provided which I read each of them only stated that oil companies are doing what they need to do to turn a profit which by the way any American with a 401k or other retirement account should be pleased with since a companies job is to make money for their employees and stock owners. They also need these nasty profits to exist. None of this has anything to do with my question.

So now that I provided you with a graph and educated you on averages do you now agree that gas prices and oil prices follow each other Y/N?

Keep in mind that it averages out in time you can't just pick two points and connect the dots. This is what I refer to as cherry picking information and is dishonest.

I am trying to find where he is praising high gas prices. Is it because he says its causing an incredible transition? Incredible just means impossible to believe. It does not denote praise. Is it the fact that he says we will come out stronger as a result of this that implies praise kind of like if we said Japan bombing pearl harbor made us stronger is the same as praising Japan? Is it because he says we will be less reliant on fossil fuels?

"When it comes to the gas prices, we're going thru an incredible transition that is taking place that, God willing, when it's over, we'll be stronger and the world will be stronger and less reliant on fossil fuels when this is over. You see what Europe is doing relative to the importation of Russian gas, you see -- anyway, I won't go through it all.

"But, and what I've been able to do to keep it from getting any worse -- and it's bad -- the price of gas at the pump is something that I've told you, you've heard me say before, would be a matter of great discussion at the kitchen table when I was a kid growing up. It's affecting a lot of families.

"But we have released over 2 hundred and I think 57 thousand -- million -- barrels of oil, I should say, us and the rest of the world. It's helped, but it's not been enough.

"We also find ourselves in a situation where we have food shortages -- food shortages because of Ukraine. There are over -- there are literally millions of bushels of oil, I mean, excuse me, of grain being held up in Ukraine that would fundamentally impact positively on the market in terms of bringing down food prices across the board.

"And so we're finding ourselves in a position where we're working very hard with American farmers and American agricultural products to provide more fertilizer and a whole range of things.

"This is going to be a haul -- this is going to take some time. But in the meantime, it seems to me the best thing I can do in addition to try to get the...Middle Eastern countries, including OPEC, to raise their production of oil and move along that route, is to see to it we continue to grow our economy, create jobs."

Did Biden sign an executive order with an indefinite "pause on new oil and natural gas leases on public lands" until a comprehensive review on the climate change impacts can be completed. Y/N (Hint you can find your answer here). https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing...ckling-the-climate-crisis-at-home-and-abroad/
The pause lasted maybe 2 months and there were 9000 existing leases available

Again no answer to the question. Where do you find the "lasted maybe 2 months"? Please copies of leases after it was signed....

"Interestingly, Oil prices where higher under G W Bush but the price of gas lower". Has the price of doing business gone up from 20 years ago? Y/N
Our refining capacity has more than doubled in that amount of time.

My question was has the price of business gone up from 20 years ago? Not sure how you came up with oil refinery capacity out of that question.

This has given me a good understanding of what grade level you are running at (looking to me between 6th and 8th grade) so I accomplished my goal.

Jim, who will be left standing? The low income folks that gas price increase is killer to their family survival budget? Elderly on fixed income? Medium income families? We are in a recession and this adds a layer of impossible survival to a lot of families. I talk to my farmer neighbors and they also have been walking razor edge of survival and now maybe not making it.

This so called transition hurts the very core of our country, not limo driven political elitist royalty we now have.

And yes, HE WAS praising the gas price as a tough pill to swallow as the MEANS to FORCE a change in a time frame that will destroy the basic family fabric of our country.

How can ANYONE be so blind to the people this will hurt? Screw em? Tough if they cannot AFFORD to survive due to killer gas prices? Acceptable collateral damage?
