My oldest grandson wanted to go to the range today to shoot his brand new KYL rimfire target today. About a month ago he shot his first 22lr handgun, ten rounds though a Charger at Corey's swinger silhouette target. He said that he wanted to leave his rifle and shoot the Charger again today.
I confirmed the zero on paper at 50 yards then screwed the ocular adjustment all the way in for Bently's 6 year old eyes. He cleared the KYL with his first 8 shots. Big hugs and a photos later he tried again. The second time through he had to shoot twice each at the 1/2" and the 1/4" targets to get them all. The third time running the targets he hit them all except the 1/4", which took 3 shots to hit.

No kidding....ha.....get that kid in the truck to enjoy life with G-pa.....and others....life short for some...share while there's time...

He doesn't have any bad habits shooting. I'm very careful to keep it that way. He has only shot suppressed 22 at targets and only suppressed bigger guns at deer. He doesn't even know what a flinch or target panic is.
