I was just wondering if you guys have come across foxs hunting together to take down larger prey i came across 3 the other night circling a large lamb that a single fox could not manage im a weathered shooter and shoot 1000s of foxs but never seen this before, i went home to fetch the rifle (pop gun ) compared to what you guys have .222 by the time i got back the lambs throat was nearly severed i shot the one and the other just kept pulling at the throat so i spoilt his night as well, and had the third the night after anyone else seen this as in the uk its rare

i thought i had uploaded these when i sent the post This is the size of the lamb taken down this fox is still latched on to the lamb by the throat, i spoilt his night completely

Does not surprise me they are K9s. But I would have thought there would be easier sources of food about. Such as mice & such.

I have witnessed just one fox eyeing up a young dear. Stalking it till I put it out of its misery. Not sure mamma would have left the fox kill it. Either way it never got the chance.
