Four years in the making.

My son and I have been tracking, photographing, etc this buck for four years. It all came together yesterday.

We're in North Idaho, was on public lands.
For you gun/ammo nerds , Rem 700, .308win, hornady 178gr eldx, topped with a much dreaded Leopold vx5hd, can is a CGS Hyperion. Shot was only about 40 yards.
Thanks all. The excitement on his face when he realized it was the big one was worth it. We had to bone it out for the ride out on our backs.

That whitetail is bigger then any muley I've seen here in Eastern Idaho for 4-5 years.
