I love the press but my Redding and Hornady seating dies with micrometers are to tall , what are you guys doing to get them to work? Don't want to buy all new dies.

I've got like 1.75" clearance on a (tall) micrometer seating die. Does yours look like mine does in these pics?

The old style Coax press had a lower arch in the handle.....I believe this was a changed in model B4 and newer. This may be the case with yours. I'm not sure if the new handle fits the older models or not.

This is the list of various models and the improvements Forster have made.
Having the jaw pressure springs retained in the B5 is a huge improvement IMO. I actually altered mine and added a couple of pins to retain the springs as I was sick of trying to find them when they fell out.

Model Revisions/Enhancements
B1 Compound leverage, reloading press. (Designer: Clarence Purdie in conjunction with Army Marksmanship Unit)
B2 Eliminated removable shellholders from top priming station.
B3 Added 1⅛" more clearance under yoke handle to accommodate tall dies.
B4 Enlarged drop tube (028271-057) for primer collection and larger set screw (028271-028) for securing handle.
B5 Two pins (028271-037-PIN) added to Shell Holder Jaw Housing (028271-037) to retain Jaw Pressure Springs (028271-039)
This is from an older thread about CoAx presses.

@Mcarso1

So you have the B2 version that is still red paint. Does your handle attach with a set screw? If it does then the B3 handle should fit as a simple swap. Call Forster to confirm that. I thinkmthe upgrade use to be around $70 but that was 10-12 yrs ago.

OK looked it up for you
