Up for sale or trade is a Savage I put together. Had the action for a while and figured I'd put together a switch barrel rig to sell. Looking to sell or trade for a good higher magnification (24x or more) rifle scope. Let me know what you have.
- Action is an old top bolt release, flat rear, Savage 110 that originally had a short mag well. Mag well has been opened up for standard long action and magnum size cases.
- BARRELS:
1) NEW UNFIRED: The barrel installed is a brand new EABCO 28 Nosler, 26" long, 1 in 9 twist, Sendero contour. Blued finish. "GO" gauge included for headspacing barrel. Custom thicker recoil lug installed.
2) NEW UNFIRED: Matte black heavy contour brand new Savage takeoff barrel in 6.5 Creedmoor, 26" long, 1 in 8 twist. "GO" gauge included for headspacing barrel.
3) 50 ROUNDS FIRED: Polished silver light sporter 308 Win barrel. 24" long, twist unknown. This barrel was picked up lightly used from previous owner. No gauges included. Matching silver barrel nut included.
- MUZZLE BRAKE: 7mm side and top port custom brake made by a good Smith on accurateshooter.com, great brakes. None of the barrels are threaded for a muzzle brake. 7mm brake is included regardless so you can have it installed on the 28 Nosler barrel if you desire or use it for a different project.
- STOCK: Boyd's Pro Varmint Pepper laminate stock with adjustable cheek piece and LimSaver recoil pad. Receiver fully bedded to stock with Marine Tex and JB-Weld.
- TRIGGER: Rifle Basix SAV-2 trigger installed and timed for smooth bolt operation.
- SCOPE BASE: NightForce 20 MOA picatinny rail.
Base and receiver has been drilled, tapped, and secured with 8-40 screws. Rail stress free bedded to receiver with Marine Tex.
- BOTTOM METAL: CDI Precision DBM bottom metal installed and bedded to stock.
- MAGAZINES: Includes one Magpul magnum lng action cartridge magazine and one Magpul standard long action magazine.
- BOLT COMPONENTS: Has custom bolt handle and all new condition internal ignition parts in the bolt (firing pin, cocking piece, spring, guide pin, etc)
- BOLT FACES x2: Magnum bolt face installed for 28 Nosler barrel. Also includes complete standard bolt face for the 6.5 CM and 308 Win.
- ACCESSORIES: Includes barrel nut and action wrench for swapping barrels. Original trigger, firing pin, recoil lug, and bolt handle.
