Looking for info on a custom rifle produced by Flaig's a company out of Millvale, PA that closed in the 70s as I recall. It has a 7mm FN Rem Mag barrel.

The barrel and receiver was made by the Belgium company, Fabrique Nationale (FN). Info that I have uncovered is sketchy.

Also, looking for info on difference between a long bolt extractor and short bolt extractor regarding the above rifle for dating of the rifle. Pictures would be great.

Flaigs built rifles on imported European actions from various mfgs. If you've got a Belgian FN you've got a good one for sure. It should be a 98 Mauser pattern action which is considered the best commercial Mauser available. Wish I had more hard info for you, but like you said it's kinda sketchy.
