I've been gathering parts for this build now for about 6 months. During the course I've gone back and forth numerous times whether to try and liquidate for things that are more so "needs" or finish the build.
Here's what I have
Borden Timberline Action: It is chrome moly with a 30-06 family bolt face. In full disclosure there are a couple of spots with very minor pitting. I was going to bead blast and cerakote which I'm sure would certainly take care of it.
Bansner's High Tech Stock: It's been fitted for the Borden Timberline, a Rock #3 barrel, and a PT&G obendorff bottom metal. Stock has been bedded
Brux #3 Barrel: This blank is a 28" SS 308 cal with 1-10 twist. Either the stock needs to be opened up around the barrel shank or the barrel needs to be contoured down to 1.20"
PT&G Obendorff Bottom Metal
Jewell HVRTS-A Trigger
All that is left to get is some screws, box, spring, and follower and she's ready to be put together. I have a Bartlein 2b barrel with same set-up as the Brux which fits the shank area better that I can substitute if that is a deal breaker. Or you can take everything minus a barrel.
I would like to first try and keep together, but will part out as time goes on. At that point, only after action and stock have been spoken for will I let the rest go.
Looking for $2,050 which will include shipping to lower 48.
There may be some things that interest me in trades. Just ask as the worst I can say is no.
