Finally

I have wanted to get a Remington 700 for a while now and I finally got one! I picked it up the other day and I cannot wait to work up loads and take it to the range. It is nothing fancy but I will make my changes over time. My phone doesn't take the best pictures but here is one after I mounted my scope.

Let us know how it shoots when you can. What cartridge is it made for?

This one is in 30 06. I had a different 06 i sold to purchase the remington. I had a a couple of rifles (06 and .270 win) but this remington is my only rifle at the moment. I hope to get either a 260 rem or a 7mm08 for my boys when they get older. (they are only 19 months so i have time)
