Going to put together an ELR hunting rifle in 338 Edge. Wanted to ask the members what features they felt made an excellent LR "hunting" stock. Not necessarily a tactical stock but a stock that will likely be shot from prone but under hunting conditions could also be shot from supported sitting/kneeling and possibly (but rarely) standing.
That aside, have been eyeballing the HS Precision PLR (Professional Hunter Long Range) stock. Talked to Kent (?) at HS Precision this am. The item # is PSS 134. Stockystocks has it listed. Looks decent. The McMillan A-3 Sporter New looks similar, just more money. Opinions please.
