Thank God for the inventiveness of the firearms industry. I had been losing sleep over that "gap" between the .338 LM and the .50 BMG. Now my troubled nights will disappear and once again my head will rest easy on my pillow. Just sayin'

Well, it fills a "gap" for me.
In April I was entered in a 3000 yd challenge. I had to withdraw from the competition.
I have a Savage 338 LM and 3000 yards is stretching it.
I have a Fisher/McMillan 50 BMG but CA said I could be arrested if I brought it into their state.
If I had been able to switch barrels on the Savage to a .375 SWISS P, I would have been able to compete.

I think that is his current problem, he has already had one!!!!

All it takes is some time and moolah and you can have anything your little heart desires.
I think they went in to perform one and couldn't find anything. It was empty!

time will bring it down. Either it wont catch on and the brass becomes useless so cheap or it become popular and competition will drive the price down. But I already pay $10 a round for loaded 338. Powder, bullet and primer are the smaller portion of the cartridge.

I use preferred barrel blanks and northland shooters supply. I am sure you can rent a reamer and have them spin one up.
