Drew a Wyoming cow tag

This week I got a cow tag in the mail from Wyoming. Unfortunately, it was my last choice (I probably shouldn't have even applied for this one) for Unit 16 from December 1 through January 31. Living in Utah, I have hunted Wyoming on a guided hunt for antelope through SNS a few years back, and helped a friend's brother with a cow hunt further north.

I contacted SNS and they could not refer me to any guides who might be available at that time. I am hoping that someone here might know of a guide in that vicinity that might be available for hire. I don't want to hunt Wyoming on my own that time of year as I just don't know the area or how to read the weather.

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Get a permission slip for the hma and shoot one from the county road.
It's going to be cold, real cold, and some snow.
Q Creek is the place to hunt if you need a guide.

I sent a request to the Wyoming Guide Association and have not received a response from anyone. Unless I can find a guide, I probably won't do the hunt. My mistake in applying.
