Hello from Waynesville MO. New to site and just getting to view what is available. Love hunting and fishing. Have been with the military for almost 40 years. 20 active and almost 20 as a civilian. Just purchased a new Savage 12 VLP Left hand model stainless with laminated wood with 26 inch barrel with with 1-9 twist. Now looking for a good scope to go on it. Any help is greatly appreciated. gun)

Thanks and I see you also shot a 7mm. That is also my primary hunting rifle for the last 38 years.

Yup, I've killed a lot of deer and elk over the years with different types of 7mm's. Right now I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the new Berger holds up to the horsepower of the 7mm AM.
