Most unlucky animal on earth. Was dry firing for practice out of the bed of my truck with a bag across the tailgate. This guy strolls through the pasture right into my sight picture of the scope.
Just chambered a round, barked at him, and held 2MOA. He went to sleep.

I wonder how much impact they have on deer? I'm sure they make an impact, and will kill every one I see, but would love to know exactly what decimation they do to a deer herd.

Texas Parks and Wildlife did a study years ago on one of their WMA's in south Texas and determined that coyotes in the study area took about 40% of the fawn crop. So let's do our deer a favor and stay after those dogs...every little bit helps.
