Do you think they are pre-rutting early this year in MD? We had that drought in the Frederick area and I wonder if it affected anything. I have them chasing and grunting here already,

I'm seeing just a little bit, I had a couple of the smaller bucks pushing each other around in the last couple days. Saw one small buck nosing around a doe and chased her away.
I think the colder nights may have brought it on.
