About 7:30 am i'm set up behind my house overlooking a river that runs through property, said property is located within 22000 acres, fabulous coyote, deer, turkey squirrel country.A huge hickory came down a year ago making a natural bridge for predators to cross ,and they do.I started calling ,i was 125 yards away, lasered with my Halo XL450,i don't like guessing ,i like to know for sure.I started with a distressed baby cottontail call and in 10 minutes a huge male started to cross the log,i was ready as i heard him coming through dry leaves,as soon as he jumps on the log i sent a 22 hornet HSM factory loaded 40 grain Berger MVFB hollow point into his chest he flipped off the log DRT.No end to yotes on this spot. The Hornet really stings, this is a big boy shown on atv.
