Well I'm probably going to regret what I'm about to do but I guess I'll just have to deal with it! Selling this rifle for the same reason everyone else sells their badass rifles, to build another one! So here we go...
Stiller TAC 300 action spiral fluted
Proof research 1-8.4" twist 28" 1.250 dia shank tapers to .920 at the muzzle
McMillan HTG stock
Ombadorf or however you spell it bottom metal
Jewel trigger @ 1.5#
Harris bipod with pod lock
Butler creek sling
Nightforce 5.5-22x50 moar highspeed zero stop
Nightforce low rings with defensive edge level
20 MOA rail (will throw in a set of talley rings custom made for this rifle as well)
110 pieces of nostler custom brass ( give or take)
SKB hard water proof case custom cut by me ($285 value)
Ammo box
Dewey coated cleaning rod with nylon and copper brushes and brass jag
Bore guide
RCBS 7mm stw dies
Rifle was built by Ed sweet who has been gun smithing for about 47
The rifle now has about 330 rounds fired give or take. The last round fired dropped a buck in its tracks at 771 yds. The farthest I have shot at targets was 1309 yds. As far as groups it will hold .5 MOA if the shooter does their part but It has hardly shot any 100 yrd groups and when it did, it was just off the bipod on my belly so I have not shot any 1/8 MOA groups but am pretty positive the rifle could do it if it were on a bench. But for the most of its life, it has messed rocks days up anywhere from 400-1300 yrds. Will provide load data and I have tested many powders in this rifle (us869, h1000, rl50, rl33, retumbo, and rl25) h1000 is what I stuck with due to its temp stability. I've only shot 180 gr Bergers which with 75.5 gr h1000 under it touching the lands is right at 3100 fps. With the 1-8.4" twist barrel it will stabilize the new 195gr Bergers if they ever show! Will throw in aprox 670 180 gr berger hunting bullets for addition price. Buyer pays shipping. Rifle was broke in properly and has never been fired more then 20 times without cleaning.
Partial trade I'd be interested in would be Vetronix terrapin. Or anything with Kirby Allen's name on it.
As of right now I do not want to split up due to if it doesn't sell soon, ill just keep it so scope stays until the rifle is 100% sold.
There is one scratch on the forend of the stock and the paint on the bolt has worn out a bit due to opening the bolt. Besides that its in great condition.
Scope has one tiny scratch on the top of the tube which was bought from sportsman with the scratch but besides that it is in perfect condition as well.
The rifle is pretty light would guess around 9 pounds its a great packing around rifle with a very far capability! I wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger on and animal at 1000 yards or even farther. And whitetail don't like 180 gr Bergers! Have shot 2 deer one at 771 and another at 589 yards and both dropped dead in their tracks!
Willing to hear offers on trades but please don't waste my time asking to trade for a stock Remington.
$6500 for everything will only ship it in the skb case due to it high quality. Buyer pays shipping and am willing to meet up if in the Montana area so you can shoot it yourself if wanted.
