I bought this rifle back in July. It's a great rifle but I'm trying to build a switch barrel setup. Here is the original ad:

Since this post I have sent the rifle back to Wayne York to set the headspace, have a new firing pin spring added and have the barrel threaded. I also added a kydex cheek piece. I added a badger ordanance 20 MOA rail that is bedded but can be removed. I've fired about 200 rounds down the barrel for load development, 40 rounds of which were 280 rem factory loads for fire forming. I can get the exact round count if needed. Gun shoots 168 berger VLD's at 1/2 moa and 162 eldm's 3/4 moa with out messing with seating depth. It shot 140 gr LRX 280 rem ammo into one ragged hole at 100 yards. One thing to note is that this rifle has the original 280 AI chamber and not the current SAMMI 280 AI chamber. Wayne can get you the reamer details. I just adjusted my dies accordingly. I would like $1600 shipped. Your FFL must accept delivery from a private individual. Please feel free to text me if you have any questions or would like to get an additional pictures, 575-496-3219. Trades: NF AtacR in 4-16, Vortex AMG, March optic or possibly a Mark 6.

Exact weight without bipod? Could you set the barrel back a thread and clean it up with the SAAMI 280ai chamber?

According to my food scale, 7.10 lbs with the badger rail. I have a set of lightweight Tally rings/bases if a buyer prefers. As for setting the barrel back, I don't see why not.
