Thanks for all the advice guys. Never found any 26 so settled with 23. Loading 55.8gr w 150 ELDX was the winning ticket. Low ES and great groups. Gonna start stretching it past 200 yards now and see what she will do.

RL 26 seems to go into draughts that can last several years....especially for us up here in Canada. Because of that I have moved to alternative powders for stuff I'm currently using 26 in. For my 23" 280 ai, i run a 168 LRX over magpro, pressure showed up at around 2920fps, my accuracy load is right around 2855fps with single digit SD.
P.S. i see your original tests were done with virgin brass....I have always found better accuracy once working with brass 1x fired in MY rifle....I suspect you will too!

I help a friend with a custom built .280 AI. It shoots exceptionally well with Berger 168 VLD and Classics. We used Retumbo and RL26 with F210s.
