Has anyone had trouble with ordering from midway usa. I have used the same email address and password dealing with ordering products. I still receive emails from them. The order form does not recognize me as a customer. I call to customer service did not help. Another call after i had cooled off some finally revealed the answer. Their system occasionally needs updating, therefore they had thrown out my email address. My argument was that i receive emails from them. No answer for that. Its a sad day when computers delete customers from file.

If you close your account at your bank, you're likely to continue to receive their marketing and promotional emails too. Why? Because most companies utilize a 3rd party service to create the content and send it to their ever-growning list of customers/recipients. Companies rarely have their own internal employees in this function as it's expensive and they can't justify to their stockholders having this additional staff when they can pay someone else to do it for them - cheaper. So - I suspect Uncle Larry is using a 3rd party to provide this service that will NEVER delete an email unless you find the Unsubscribe link and use it, doesn't matter that your account information has been deleted after a period of inactivity - they don't share that information for a reason. They want you to continue to buy their stuff, account or no.

Additionally: I never ask to be put on their mailing list, but here I am getting their flyers at every address I ever shipped something to. Very aggravating.

Midway's site is extremely complex, like 1000's of products, new deals, discounts, reward points, back orders, reviews, & Larry's helpful tips. Simplicity avoidant.

My guess is the site is written in the "C" computer language and has had numerous "patches" or modifications, some of which don't work or interfere with others. Your problem might be an indication of this.

I see no link between bank activity and the Midway billing except charging your credit card. Midway would not know if you closed a bank credit card account until the charge made on a credit card was refused. Midway will not ship item until payment is authorized. As mentioned, emails will continue to be pumped out by some 3rd party not directly connected to your account.

My suggestion would be to send Midway an email stating that you have the problem where the site does not recognize you as a customer, give them your name & address. If the site does not recognize you as a customer any reward points will not be seen. If you have any reward points tell MIdway to restore the points to your account. If you do not have any reward points tell Midway you intend to "Cancel My Membership" then make a new account "Create Account".

I would not opt to have any marketing emails received or allow Midway to have credit card info.

I have problems with using Midway's reward points, unable to credit points to purchase - I will not allow any more than 250 points to accumulate. Imagine losing 1000's of points! The rewards system is sort of complex and simplicity avoidant, converting $ spent to points then points back to $ credit.

Send Larry an email, a subordiate will reply within a day or so.

Computers..:::
I was lost when they took the cans and string from me. 😁
Guess I was a slow learner, I couldn't get the cans right,ever. Changed the string, the cans, even went with a large tomato can and it never worked.
What was I doing wrong?
