Colorado Unit 42

Any information for Colorado Unit 42 elk and mule deer hunting would be greatly appreciated. Had some friends who used to hunt the Hightower Mountain area and was curious how this area is these days. Will be going out 2nd season this year I hope.

My buddy drew mule deer tag so any help around Hightower over to Reno would be a big help. I will probably be doing OTC elk. Thanks again!!

The north side of the grand mesa will be good. Look into 421 as well lots of good areas there. Definitely confirm your target as there are plenty of moose in the area as well.
