Colorado 521 area

I would greatly appreciate any information on the 521 area in Colorado. I will be doing a 12 day elk wilderness hunt there in September and would like any confirmation that there is approximately 300 that are in this area. Is this just a line or are there some elk up there? What is the hunting pressure like. Looking at heading about ten miles or so North/ Northwest of Horse Ranch Park.
