Clockwise CW or counterclockwise CCW turrets

I use my left hand for turret adjustment and my thumb can obscure the CCW turret numbering when rotating it upward and has always seemed a little awkward. In reading left to right a CW turret rotations seems more natural. I have always used CCW and am considering a CW trial. Would appreciate hearing from a few of you who tried switching from CCW, normally utilized in the US, to CW turret rotation. How did it work out? Probably been discussed before but a quick search didn't find much.

I use my left hand to turn the Standard CCW turrets. Never had a real issue seeing the numbers. Just have my thumb slightly above them. What sort of drives me crazy though are CW turrets. I have a Zeiss that has them and I really have to stop and think when I use them and that is distracting for me.

That's probably one of those things that should be universally standard. I never really understood why everybody doesn't drive on the same side of the road either.
