Chronograph Question?

I have a Pro Chrony that I use to set up my archery equip. with. I am going to the range tomorrow to shoot my ML and my new .300 SAUM LTR. I want to shoot both thru the chrony. What are some instructions? How far from the muzzle? I;m woooried about the muzzle blast harming and knocking over the chrony? Thanks for the help!

10 to 12 feet away from the muzzle and you'll have no problems!
I shoot a 300 RUM, 300 Win. Mag, etc. and have never had problems.
