Christmas Rifles!

My father surprised me with a pawnshop special!!!
I am LH so I always look for LH guns! My dad found a LH m700 in a 270win with some Nikon 4-12x40AO on it, absolutely beautiful rifle for being a made in 97, it's just a production rifle. BUT will be a great rifle for me to work on my second semi custom! Will keep it as is other then a new scope(VX5HD 4-20) for now! But will be a great gun for a lighter sporter build then my current build.

Nice rifle. I would keep it as is and shoot it before changing anything except upgrade the scope as you mentioned. The 270 has been and always will be a great deer/elk cartridge.
