Cheek Piece install

How hard is it to install the D.E. Cheek Piece? Is it a DIY or not? I don't have a drill press.

Is there anything I need to be aware of if I install this on an HS Precision stock?

Hand drill will work. Drill in from both sides... not clear through from one side. That is how I did it with my Karsten.
