I had a Center Point 4-16x40 mildot here for a few yrs that I took off one of the three soft barreled Win 70 Black Shadow 300 win mag rifles I had in the past. Yesterday I stuck it on my Mk5 Fibremark in .270 Wby Mag. Took 4 shots and it was zeroed dead on at 100y with 150gr Wby sp ammo. Today I went to the 300y range and after a few re-zeroing shots I shot a 1.5" 3 shot group and the fourth shot made the group 1.88" off sandbags. I'm thinking a 1" group is now possible at 300y on a good day. Repeatability was amazing. Details at 11...

If you want to shoot consistent 1 Moa at 300 yards. (3 inches) your fine with that scope. Remember for every 100 yards Moa gets an inch bigger. 100 yds - 1" 200 yds 2" 1000 yds - 10" 1762 yds (a mile) 17.62" I would upgrade to a higher quality scope however. Never used a center point but 1.8" at 100 yards is a little wild. Just my thoughts..

I have a cheap Bushnell Banner that can do that.. It was on a 300 Weatherby with no brake then with a brake. It never skipped a beat...
