Center feed vs bdl for 300 PRC

I am building a 300 PRC HUNTING rifle. It's a Defiance AnTi with a 22 inch Caborn6 barrel. I'm trying to decide which box to use. I'm comparing the CFE 12 vs. the 300 PRC box from Wyatt's. Anybody use either with their PRC?

Run the 300 PRC kit - they're a drop in fit that require minimal (if any) work to get optimal feeding.

The Center feed can take some work to get them just right.

Agree with North Idaho Hunter, if your action feed rails and ramp are already set for the 300 prc. Also, with some of the center feed designs, you lose one cartridge capacity.

A centerfeed when tuned well is slick as snot. Mine was with a cfe-12 and worked well

What tuning is required with the CFE 12?

Adjusting the feed lips so yhe cartridge comes up properly in the mag so the bolt can strip the cartridge out properly. Kevin Wyatt has a couple of good videos on YouTube about the machining and adjustment procedures. I also had to polish the feed lips on my CFE-9, not to improve feeding, but because the sharp edges were scratching my cases. It's not a complicated process, just takes a little time, patience, and finesse.
