Carbon 6 barrels

Does anyone have any experience with carbon 6 barrels? I'm thinking about having an 8mm rifle barrel done. I'm just looking for any pros or cons. Anyone with McGowan barrels feel free to chime in as well.

Never had a carbon 6 barrel, but I've used a lot of McGowen barrels. They shoot pretty darn good.

There McGowan barrels wrapped in carbon fiber, I called several other manufacturers, but no one except carbon 6 will make an 8mm.

According to Bryan Litz all the carbon barrels walk with heat something terrible. I think ur best to get a light barrel made of steel because those are predictable. My father ordered one from carbon 6 and was thankful he was able to cancel it before they made it. Just one perspective
