Can't make up my mind

I need a scope for a Remington 700 vs sf II in 223 rem. I want I gues around a 6.5 X 20 X 40 . I want target knobs and a mil dot but I am concerned about how much adjustment I will need. I was looking at the Zeiss, IOR, Leupold and maybe Nikon Monarch. Paper and prairie dogs will be the targets and occaisional coyote. All comments welcome. Thanks

just put a 6.5 to 20 power mark 4 leopold on a remington 700 police in 308 win the scope has 70 moa at 100 yards. i will get you out to 1000 yards with no problems.
