Cannot get hold of 87gr V-Max~ What alternatives ???

Hiya Guys,

As the title says I cannot find any .243cal 87grain V-Max bullet heads anywhere and need an accurate long range alternative.

What can you suggest ???

Bullet must be accurate and varmint/ballistic type bullet head and be over 70grain to help combat the English winds.

i think Hornady makes a 75g VMax in the same caliber, you might could try that.

The 88gr berger varmint works pretty good. Probably not as explosive as the v-max but has about the same B.C.

I shoot the 75's in my 6-284. They're like a grenade on coyotes. I'm going to assume you aren't looking to save hides, or you wouldn't be using V-Max's, but they do shoot really well.

Searra 85 gr. HPBT Game Kings. They are as accurate as most match bullets. I hit a fox at 600 yards with one and it almost cut it in half. gun)
