gday all can someone tell how the 7mm burger hybrid pills go as a hunting projectile
as they are for target shooting.

if there no good i will order some 180 VLDH

I have no shot them on game, but I have heard very good things about using the hybrids for hunting. Use the search feature as I know I've seen this mentioned a time or two.

Only shot 1 whitetail deer at medium distance with them but was DRT! The gun was 284 shehane firing 180 vld hybrid, the MV was 2920 fps and the range was 512 yards. No pass threw at that range. Deer was 207 lbs live weight. Hit was in the ribs heart/lung was busted bullet broke ribs on oppisite side and was under the hide.

I cannot verify that the 180 Match target hybrid will work BUT based on my recent hunting successes with both the 230 (.308) and the 105 (.243) match target hybrids I believe they will work fine.

I helped a friend make a load for his 7 Rem mag. I used the 168 classic hunting hybrid. He shot a cow elk with it and his remark was that he had never seen a elk die that quickly. He was very pleased with the bullet's performance.
