I am currently using a set of Redding Master Hunter Dies for seating my 6.5PRC bullets. Everything appears to be set up correctly but with every bullet I put in the die appears to grab onto the bullet and leave a ring around the tip of the Berger bullet where I am assuming the seating stem is catching it. It is a noticeable indentation on the bullet. Has anyone seen this before and if so what do you do to stop it? Thanks for your help!

I've had this happen with a Forster seater die I owned. I used oooo steel wool on a mandrel and put it in a drill and polished the inside of the seating stem. You could also try a metal polish on a piece of cotton Worked for me. If this doesn't work you may have to get a VLD type seating stem for your die.JME
