Brass Count

I try to keep about 100 for each magnum caliber at a time, and .308 I have a metric crap-ton.

When I build my .280 AI, I will probably have about 250 brass, b/c I plan on shooting it a ton.

I'll keep two to four hundred casings for most rifles depending on usage frequency. For my AR I've got 1,200 rounds loaded and stuff for at least a few hundred more loaded. I shoot ten different rifle calibers (plus two pistol calibers), so I've got just a round or two around.

I feel your pain....

Usually about 150-200 for each hunting rifle.Alot more than that for each varmint rig.
I have an addictive personality.I just love to pull the trigger.I have a metric crap-ton of rifles. There is a place in my heart for each and every one.GRIN

For each barrel I buy enough brass to outlast it, after culling for the best of it. Seems to come in around ~500pcs per, usually in Lapua.

That leaves me enough to load ~100rds at any given time. And since I've yet to destroy good brass, I'm doing fine with initial expense here.

Between 200 to 500 per caliber, but in some calibers I have two different weapons, bolt and semi, so for the semi's I tend to stock milsurp, which seems to last longer and shoot just as well. A Howa 1500 bolt gun in -06 actually shoots better with milsurp than even lapua brass, and I've tried nodes up to way too high and about eleventy-six bullet/powder/primer/seating depth combinations. Who'd a thunk it?
