Beware! I tried to work out a deal with this guy and before I sent my check to him and having a deal, I simply asked for a picture of the product next to a piece of paper with the date on it. He ignored it the first time and everything was still a go on the deal. Then, when I asked again for a picture to insure the scope actually existed before sending $2,000 to a stranger, he blew up and said. "Deals off. Too much hassle."
So, either approach with caution, use a payment method that has an ESCRO system in place, or proceed at our own risk. He also told me multiple stories about the status of the scope or scopes plural. If it is too much hassle to snap a pic with your phone and push send when selling a high dollar item like this, it may just be too much hassle for him to package it up and send it to you.
For informational purposes. I have been scammed before and after using the method of taking a picture of the item you are buying with a piece of paper that says your name or the date just to confirm they aren't snagging pics from Google, I have avoided MANY scams and have also had a lot of pictures sent to me and the deal went fine. I'm not trying to slander this man, but, the picture he has posted could easily be snapped while at a gunshow and the whole calling off the deal immediatley after asking for a better picture of it... In my experiences... It means it doesn't exist. I mean, think about it logically... From all the motivation he expresses on selling this thing, you'd think he would be happy to snap a pic while he packages it up?... It would have been easier than logging into this site and post a response that it's still available.
Happy hunting to everyone. To the seller, I hope I didn't **** you off with this. It's the internet and I'm sharing my personal experience and quite possibly saving someone a lot of money. If it does exist and you just sent me a pic, you'd have the money in your pocket. Good luck
