berger VLD THICK?

I´ve seen a reference in Berger´s web page to a 7mm VLDX 180g. THICK bullet....

Is this a thicker jacket with the same bullet diameter as the "thin" one, or a bullet with a little more diameter for not so tight bores??

It is the exact same bullet just uses a thicker jacket than the regular VLD's. I wonder how they will be for hunting?

The THICK bullets are not recommended for hunting. At least not by Berger.

I think the main purpose for the thick jacket is for rifles that push this bullet faster than most. For example some of the wildcats that Kirby builds push those 7mm bullets much faster than factory chamberings.
