What is the difference between the two bullets?

VLD has a secant ogive. Classic Hunter has a hybrid ogive. The bc's will be slightly different between the two. The VLD is more sensitive to seating depth. If feeding from the mag of your rifle is a priority for you, the Classic Hunters are more likely to work well seated at mag length and generally take a bit less load development than is needed with VLD's.
