I'm trying to organize a youth hunt at Big Bend Ranch State Park for aoudad. The TPWD has not considered this as a viable tool for "Invasive species control" because they believe that it would be unsuccessful in taking any number of aoudad. I have been told by other guides that they would be more than willing to donate their time to guide these youth if we could make this hunt happen. I've also had interest from possible sponsors that'd be willing to outfit these youth with proper equipment and funds.
I'd like to have an entire day of orientation before the hunt and I think if we could find a long-range shooting instructor to give a crash course before the hunt . Can anybody think of someone that could donate their time and expertise if we can make this hunt a reality?
