I've been studying apps, primarily for use with 22 LR. Strelok was highly praised, but apparently no longer available, as it is from a Russia based company and has been banned!

I think that's what he said, actually his app and rangefinder in a 10x42 pair of bino's which we have available but not with his app installed and functional. If the bino's are Tract as is the scope I want to buy, it would be a very good piece of equipment. R&D is in process and like James, I would be patient and not release something until it's ready. Sounds promising. I too have used Strelok for years as well as Hornady's app.
A contributing factor in choosing a ballistic app is, are you willing to do the work of learning and understanding the fundamental information required for the app to be accurate, garbage in, garbage out. It takes time to measure scope height correctly, know your true velocity for a given cartridge in your weapon and measuring present climate conditions when your establishing a baseline of data to enter into the app. Not to mention all of the other information necessary for the app to do what one expects it to do.
Never rely on velocity printed on a box of factory ammo, too many variables from their test barrel in a controlled environment and your rifle out in the field.
I will likely sell my Meopta B1 UHD 10x42 bino's (which are very good) and buy whatever platform James uses in his final offering, I know it will be excellent glass, or maybe I'll keep them as backups.

Interested. I don't like the new version of AB Quantum. Inclination is 2 screens away from the main shooting screen - what are they thinking? I've been asking for external wind buttons on here and LRO for years - that alone will pull me in for a handheld and binos too if glass is useable.

Downloaded the EB - I assume pressure shown is station pressure off iphone since elevation is nowhere on app? Nothing in help section on pressure. In others I could enter barometric pressure and elevation - I get that station pressure is more accurate - just curious.

Strelok is still available. Unfortunately, people keep passing on bad information. Go to the Strelok Forum and read how to bypass the government restrictions.
- Strelok Pro was up an running on droids all the time... Can do all updates through Huawei or Samsung app stores.

About 60/40 in the US with Apple being the 60%. Nice to see James getting Android app up and running though.The 75ish percent of the world with Android devices sure would like to test that statement....
Eb uses absolute pressure from the sensor in the phone
Elevation is shown in settings bottom right gear

Thank you, found it. Interesting on the Tripod setting, having not used one I wasn't aware they may have a tendency to shoot high though it makes sense. Looking forward to getting the hardware when available. My current RF readouts do not match the app that goes with it. Very frustrating.
