Years back there was a mono bullet manufacturer that made bullets with numerous small grooves around the shank. The company was "Groove Bullets". These bullets look very similar, and the multi-groove concept seems to make sense to me.

You are correct...... many companies have made and are still producing grooved bullets.... Herters was the on I emember from back in the 60`s....
I saw some old threads (2004) about it.

They look like a combination of NorthFork and GS Custom bullets....should be a winner.
I like GSC; I still do not know if they folded.
BTW, thanks for sharing North Fork; I updated my list.

They are a bonded lead core bullet. Steve West just started using them, we'll see how they do next year. Looks like they have the BC of a brick.

Darpa had some interesting stuff too...If you are hunting T-72s.
Wasn't there another another maker in Arizona, or was it target bullets? I really can't remember.

There is another maker I was looking at who is using the driving band concept, with an almost sub caliber projectile, but the company escapes me at the moment.
