Has anyone added their own leg extensions to an Atlas to extend the height high enough for sitting? I've got to believe someone has done it by adding some sort of tripod legs.

There is a guy in UT selling an adaptor that will let you run Evolution bipod legs on your Atlas and you can easily get it to sitting height with those.

After talking with the owner of Evolution bipods I ended up just buying one of his with extra legs. We'll see how it works out but I do like the ability to quickly and easily change the legs. We talked about how I could make them fit the Atlas by making an adapter bushing of some sort with the lathe and mill but, in the end, it'll still cost me the legs and time to make them fit. I'd still have the issue of not being able to quickly remove and replace the legs.
