I sent a message to athlon asking about the ability to replace the battery if the one in the unit failed to charge. I never received any answer or response from the company. I won't buy from a company that has no customer service. It was a simple question that could have had an easy answer. Anyone here have better luck finding information from Athlon?

I dealt with Athlon for warranty on an optic years ago, everything was smooth and timely.

If I had to guess it'll be the same as the Garmin battery where it's common and basically open the case, order a replacement battery online and plug it in.

Has anyone compared the shooter software app from Garmin Vs Athlon? Sorry if already discussed, didn't see in thread. Ive seen head to head review of obtaining data at range between the 2, but not the software and app.
It seems that the data collected is important but also the ability to have on smart phone, computer, transfer data to friend, download and print etc are all things I ran into using a Garmin, they were possible, but it took a bit of work.
It seams that the Athlon software is more extensive
