AR upper receiver

I need some help gents, I'm on the wall between a 308 and 7.62 upper receiver for my ar. Any suggestions?

i'm only a month late to the party, but i'll need more info on upper suggestions

only a stripped upper, complete upper, armalite or dpms platform..............or that cartridge or another cartridge for that platform...........................
