I just acquired a new 30-06 and just happen to have some 200 grn eldx bullets laying here not used. I am wondering if anyone is using this bullet in a 30-06 and what kind of success you are having.

If you're having good success do you care to share the load data?

I haven't tried the 200 ELD, currently loading 208 ELD with Reloader 17.
I used to load the 200 SMK with IMR 4350.
So in my opinion the 200 ELD with some RL 17 would be my first choice and IMR 4350 would be my second..

I was hoping to try the 208gr eldx in my 30-06 at some point. H4350 will work, but I was going to try the new IMR 4955. Supposed to be a touch slower then H4350, and ought to be well suited. I prefer to stay away from reloader due to the temperature sensitivity. Although in accurate bulletins daily blog they announced a new reloader that is temp stable and anti coppering.
