Any 140 grains 6.8 users any cartridge

I plan to build a 6.8x51 Fury using the Hybrid brass. I do not have any experience with of the modern 6.8 cartridges. My last one was a 270 using just about any 130 class bullets.

Yes, I am going to run to the 80K pushing the 140 class bullets at 3K. I don't know how well cup and core projectiles will react to the 80K kick in the butt whether some deformation will exists, maybe run solids.

I not worried about running the 700 at that pressure, I got the scoop what needs to be modified. 80K pushing the bullet affects on precision is what I would seek to find out.

You guys running those big 6.8 cartridgea, any thoughts?

Unfortunately, my 270 barrel sailed years ago with way too many rounds through it. Rifle is now a 30-06.

Will keep the RL26 in mind in case I get a wild bug to revert to 270. I have a couple of 8 pounders on back order

If there's one cartridge it REALLY wakes up, it's the ol' 270w.

Does it benefit a lot with the Ackley version?
