Another MT member (billings)

Though google searches I kept ending up reading threads on LRH so I joined!

Hello sobrace, I too just joined and found myself here exactly how you say.
I live in Absarokee so, maybe we will have things in common.
Hope you enjoy this forum as much as I have so far.

Welcome!
I also live in billings, tell us about what your shooting?gun)

My latest and greatest is an AR-15 in .204 ruger. I have Z-15 frames from Defiance Machine out of Columbia Falls, MT. A 26" barrel from White Oak Armament with a bolt to match. JP lo-mas bolt carrier and adjustable gas block (hoping to turn it WAY down). I got a smoking deal on a rock river 2 stage trigger so I'm gonna run it and compare it to the Geissele I have on my .223 yote gun. I havent stepped into reloading yet although that is where everything is leading. I also have a rem 700 in .270 a tikka in 22-250. I LOVE the feel of the tikka but havent got to shoot it much. None are long range hunters, the .204 should be (hopefully) my first step to precision PD hunting. A few more days and that WOA barrel will be here, I cant wait!

Any BRGC members?

Any BRGC members?

Not me - been a member at YRC for a long time.

I do get the opportunity to visit your club a number of times a year for archery and sporting clays. I know a lot of your members - all quality guys. BRGC is a fine quality club with a lot of advantages on it's multi facilities but it is limited to only 300 yds for rifle. That's just a couple of clicks beyond "zero" for a lot of these guys on here.

Welcome

Welcome to the forum. I'm over in Miles City. Lot's of p-dogs and have access to a 1000 yd range with steel a few minutes from the house, and a friend that has one out to a mile if you want to shoot longer range....:)

Welcome

This club is very convient for me, the big bore range is a bit short, nice, but short. I love the rest of the place! If I need longer I head out to the in-laws ranch anyways.

Good to have ya! I did the same thing, got tired of getting search results here and not being a member so i joined up! Love the Billings area, spent some time working on a couple ranches down there and hunt elk in the Broadview area.
