Hey guys. I'm wondering what the difference is between the Accuracy International CIP mags and the regular Accuracy International mags? Thanks guys.

Deals with length. CP mags you can load to a longer OAL. 3.60" is all your gonna get with stardard mags and that probably won't feed reliably Everytime if loaded that far out in a stardard mag. If your shooting a long action and loading long go with CP mags or do what I did and don't even run AICS. Go with accurate mag 3.774" length mag. But only two manufacturers produce bottom metal for it. Accurate mag has their own which is a little pricey or give Dave Kiff a call out at PT&G, pacific tool and gauge, and let him know what your shooting, how far, and how you intend to load it, long or short. FYI it's a total drop-in too! No in letting required.

Thanks for the info! Any issues with the vertical rib interfering with loaded (or loading) rounds? I'm currently researching a 338 EDGE build and that seems to be an issue for that caliber.

M1A,
I would be cautious about an edge especially with a 300 Berger loaded to 3.7 or so. I use a Wyatt's extended box and mine are loaded to almost 4.000.

Cautious in what way? Is 3.7" getting too short for the 300gr bullets? I seem to remember 3.785" being somebody's OAL for the EDGE but I can't find that now...

I personally have not had good luck with the long bullets seated deep in cases. One caliber had erratic pressure. High ES and crappy groups. Just throwing my 1/2 cent of advice. Not trying to start any arguments.

OK, that's what I would expect with the larger bullets. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking something. Thanks!
