i don't know where else to ask this. I am trying to figure out where to go next in practice, kinda looking for some guidance.
Shooting from barricades, props, non-traditional positions I seem to have come to a plateau. I struggle on props where i can't get "on top" of the rifle. I'm not big, 5'6" 145#, so an empty 55 gal barrel is very unsteady. I have advantages on some positions, but others, when I feel the rifle is above me, I struggle.
any tips? Suggestions? Maybe a shooting school? I just am not sure what to focus on for practice. Small targets at short range? Paper at match range? How do I keep from getting blown around when I/the prop is exposed to the wind?
Competitions make you shoot in positions I would never choose if I had a choice. But that's what makes the game, and I am struggling with the game.
